We are currently hiring highly skilled Vehicle Painters (Sandblast Painters) for our clients in Australia. 

Common tasks that you may perform include:
  • Removing rough spots on vehicle panels
  • Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
  • Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper
  • Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint
  • Applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
  • Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
  • Removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
  • Painting signs and artwork on vehicles
  • Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
To apply for this role, you must have:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a Vehicle Painter 
  • Must have sand blasting experience or proficient in operating sandblasting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Must have familiarity with various sandblasting tools, equipment, abrasives, and paints to achieve the desired surface finish.
  • Must be skilled in spray painting (using spray guns, brushers, rollers), paint mixing, primer application, and different types of coatings according to specifications.
  • Good English communication skills 
  • Must be able to drive a 4-wheel vehicle
  • Must be able to provide work references and salary evidence
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and at least a vocational diploma, or short course certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
